It is an honor to serve as the principal of Springer Middle School and to be part of a school community that is deeply committed to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive. I believe that middle school is a transformative time in a child's life, and my goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and connected.
This is my 25th year in the Brandywine School District and my 18th year serving as a school administrator. Before joining Springer, I had the privilege of serving as the principal of Carrcroft Elementary School for the past 12 years. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work alongside outstanding educators, students, and families who have strengthened my belief that positive relationships and high expectations create the foundation for student success.
As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of creating a school where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. My wife is a teacher at Concord High School, and together we are raising three children who attend Brandywine schools in fifth, seventh, and tenth grades. We proudly live in the Brandywine community and are deeply invested in the success of our schools and the families we serve. Brandywine is more than the district where we work—it's our home.
At Springer, we are proud of our tradition of academic excellence, outstanding extracurricular opportunities, and a culture built on respect, responsibility, and belonging. I am committed to working in partnership with our students, families, staff, and community to ensure every student is challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and prepared for success in high school and beyond.
I look forward to building relationships with our Springer families and continuing the tradition of excellence that makes this school such a special place. Together, we will ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

I am thrilled to join the Bulldog Family at Springer! I have had the pleasure of serving our families and communities in the Brandywine School District for over 20 years; and am proud to have been named the Brandywine School District Teacher of the Year in 2023.
My love for learning was honed early by educator parents; my father was a Special Education Teacher, and my mother began her career as a teacher in Nigeria but later switched to Accounting. While this sparked my interest in education, the greatest influence for entering the profession stems from my recognition of the power of education itself! It is the great equalizer when it is delivered through an equity lens, empowering students in their learning experiences.
I am the proud mama of Josiah, and I have a passion for youth development, my church community, gardening, traveling and family time.

On a personal note, I am a proud parent of four children, all of whom have had the privilege of attending Springer. Family is incredibly important to me, and I bring that same sense of care and dedication to my school family.
I am especially grateful for the opportunity to work in the community in which I live, strengthening the ties between my personal and professional life. The dedication and passion that the staff, students, and parents exhibit towards creating a nurturing learning environment are truly inspiring. I look forward to working closely with all of you to continue fostering a culture of lifelong learners.

I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal for our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive community. I’m a proud lifelong Bulldog, having spent my entire 20-year career at Springer Middle School—first as a math teacher, then as Dean of Students, and now as Assistant Principal. I am passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
At our school, we believe in fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience. My goal is to help each student develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed academically and personally. I believe in strong partnerships between home and school and encourage open communication to support our students' growth.
I’m the proud mom of two amazing kids, and our family spends much of our time at the baseball and softball fields. We also have a lovable German Shepherd named Max. I’m a die-hard fan of the Phillies, the Eagles, and Notre Dame football—game days are a big deal in our house. In my free time, I enjoy reading (or listening to audiobooks), traveling to new places, and making memories with family and friends. The beach is definitely my happy place.
I am excited to embark on this journey with you and look forward to an amazing school year ahead.

Welcome to Springer Middle School! With more than18 years of experience in education, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of settings and roles, most notably as a dedicated school counselor. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to fostering strong relationships with students, families, and staff, recognizing that these connections are the foundation of a positive school experience and climate.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I have four children. We currently have 2 in college and 2 in high school. We stay busy trying to keep up with their ever-changing schedules.
I am looking forward to another year serving the Springer community. Go Bulldogs!

Welcome to Springer! As a graduate of the Brandywine School District, I am thrilled to be joining the Bulldog family. With over 24 years of experience in education, I have held various roles, including classroom teacher, school counselor, and Dean of Students.
I believe that every child deserves to feel important, capable, and cared for. I view education as a relationship-centered journey where students grow not only academically, but also as whole individuals. My goal as an educator is to help each child discover their strengths, build confidence, and leave knowing that they matter.
I am the mother of two amazing children, both of whom have attended Springer. In my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling, checking out the latest movie, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am beyond excited for the amazing school year ahead! I am proud to be a Bulldog!
